Domonique Malaquais is an art historian focusing on contemporary urban Africa, specifically on art and its role in combating political and economic violence. This video was featured in the 25th anniversary issue of Politique Africaine, as part of a DVD which includes poetry, prose, film (a documentary film by Luli Barzman and a filmed interview of Congolese writer Vincent Lombume), music and two virtual exhibitions, including a series of 15 works by Congolese artist Patrice Felix Tchicaya. Tchicaya's work is nothing short of amazing. The Revolution Void song Habitual Ritual accompanies the virtual exhibition of Tchicaya's work. 2000 copies of the special edition magazine and DVD were published.
